AS NZS 4768.3:2018 pdf free.Digital radio equipment operating in land mobile and fixed services bands in the frequency range 29.7 MHz to 1 GHz
Testing shall conform to all requirements of ETSI EN 300 113 V2.2.1, not just to the aspects for which there are local variations included in Section 3 of this Standard. The purpose of the variations is to extend the frequency range of ETSI EN 300 113 V2.2.1 for use in ITU region 3 and to permit continued supply of equipment which was acceptable under testing arrangements derived from the previous versions of AS/NZS 4295, which were based on IEC test methodology. ETSI EN 300 113 V2.2.1 permits reduced receiver sensitivity for higher data rates. This results in requirements which are lower than the values listed in the local variations.
Where the requirements of Section 3 differ from the ETSI EN 300 113 V2.2.1 requirements (e.g. transmitter adjacent channel power), the less stringent of the two requirements shall apply when assessing conformance. Digital equipment that is capable of operation within the scope of the analogue land mobile Standard AS/NZS 4295 shall conform to the requirements of that Standard (which is based on ETSI EN 300 086 V2.1.2).
Any adjustment mechanism that would enable the radiofrequency output of the equipment to be altered so the requirements of this Standard are contravened shall be contained within the housing of the equipment and shall not be externally accessible.
Except as specified in this Clause, radio equipment operating in the VHF and UHF land mobile service shall not allow for entry of frequencies through the keyboard, keypad or through other controls accessible to the user. Such control shall only be enabled for use by authorized service and maintenance personnel.
Single channel point-to-point and point-to-multipoint fixed service equipment operating in the designated VHF and UHF fixed service bands shall meet the requirements of a base station except for the rated output power, which shall be as specified in Table 3.2(A) for Australia or Table 3.2(B) (for New Zealand) for the appropriate type of transmitter, and in accordance with Clause 3.11.2.AS NZS 4768.3 pdf free download.
