This definition is not applicable to fun karts or race karts that are privately owned and used for personal recreational activities or competitive motor sport. This definition expressly excludes any dodgem karts, bumper karts, Ferrari karts, Formula 500 or any amusement ride or device that runs karts on a rail system.
